- These piles serve as indicators and are not an active part of the
game.
Lower
foundations (8
piles)
- Build all piles up regardless of suit each pile contains 12 cards.
Build first pile up by 2s, second pile up by 3s, third up by 4s, ... up to
the eighth pile which is built up by 9s.
- Ranking is continuous.
Tableau (8 piles)
- The top card of each pile is available for play.
- No building is allowed.
Stock
- Eight redeals
are allowed so that each tableau pile may be gathered and dealt.
