To move all of the cards to the foundation pile(s).
Foundations (4 piles)
Cells (4 piles)
Build up in suit from Ace to King (for example, a 6©
may be played on a 5©).
Tableau (8 piles)
- Only one card at a time is allowed in each cell.
Build down in alternating colors (for example, a 8§
may be played on a 9¨ or 9©).
The top card is available for play.
- Groups of cards in sequence
down in alternating color may be moved as a unit to another tableau pile if there are
cells that the cards could be moved individually.
- Spaces may be filled by any King or sequence of cards headed by a King.
Groups of cards in correct sequence may be moved as a unit if there are
enough empty cells that would have allowed the cards to be moved
individually. This feature is provided as a shortcut and is not part of
the formal game rules.
